Got three games I want to play and two are popular fantasy multiplayers…and one is Hypnospace Outlaw. Well, four, also fallout 1.

The other two are ff14 and genshin impact. I still haven’t finished Arceus, though.

small batfam ff14 thoughts

I don’t even play FF14 very seriously but I picked it up again the other day and was contemplating no capes, Batfam plays Final Fantasy 14 AU at work to stay awake SO the notes:

Tim’s been playing the longest. He has a Young Justice FC with Bart, Kon, and Cass (Tim is the healer, Kon is the tank, Cass and Bart are DPS)

Dick has a Titans FC, Babs has the Birds of Prey (Cass Cain and Steph are here), Jason has the Outlaws etc. 

the family linkshell was created and named by Dick and has a terrible pun at all times.

Bruce plays too, but was trying to be discreet about it for a time, because he was feeling shy and/or emotionally constipated (wanna spend time with the kids but is it awkward for them to play MMORPG with dad...)

Damian is learning to play and depending on who you ask the fault lies with Dick, Jon, Colin, Maps, or Maya. Sometimes Dick tries to arrange a family raid and he butts heads with Tim when Tim plays healer because Damian is either That Tank or That DPS--he’s improving, but he and Tim can’t party together because of Damian’s tendency to pick a fight

Between his friends and his family sometimes Tim is just like, I guess I’m tank now. This is fine. (It’s not fine, but he’s coping.)

Player character thoughts:

Dick is a hyur and usually a tank

Jason is au ra and does tank/dps

Tim is a miqo’te and does healer/dps--usually he’s a healer, though.

Steph is an elezen (to be taller than Tim)

Cass Cain is a lalafell (because it’s cute and for funsies)

Damian is a miqo’te as well. He claims not to care about RP lore but his character is a seeker of the sun, like Tim’s, and has the same tribe)

Duke is a lalafell

Bruce is also a lalafell. He was hoping the contrast between himself in the game and himself in the physical world would throw people off.

This is the entire reason I love being able to go back and revisit cutscenes.

I fixed Storm’s hair and put the correct dye on her outfit.

The bottom shot is How She Should Look, and her IC appearance. The top was close but inaccurate (because at the time I only had the top, not the whole set, and hadn’t added gold to her hair).

The more Garleans we encounter, the more convinced I am that Cid is honest to God the only truly sane pureblooded Garlean.

Possibly Maxima, too, but without further evidence, he’s under the Suspicion category.

The one thing I dislike about the FF14 subreddit is how people hate on some jobs.

Dude, just shut up and let us filthy casuals play what we like. I’m not the best dragoon, but my god I love it and I try so hard I give myself panic attacks. (And my screeching when I nail Stardiver seems to be pretty funny.)
